Rico Research & Development (R&D) centre, approved by the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR) is key factor in sustaining Rico’s growth. Rico has won many prestigious projects based on its R&D capabilities, by providing solution for critical products.

Rico proudly owns over 60 seats and all the necessary engineering software like CAD, CAM, and CAE. With its R&D unit, it is able to undertake various processes like Design & Analysis, Material Research & Development and Testing & Validation. R&D Team has developed various new products for its customers across the globe, new processes to meet enhanced product requirements & alloys with high strength for weight reduction to meet new Automobile Emission Norms & Electric Vehicle Parts.

R&D is using high end CAD software like CATIA, CREO, NX etc for Design & Magmasoft for Casting Process Simulation. It has state of the art testing facilities for the two wheeler Clutch & CVT, Mechanical, Vibration & Microstructure.
